Every culture has there own music. I'm sure you know the more these culture blend the more variety. I'm not a rap fan myself.... it a lot repeating of the same verses in my opinion.

By the way, the roots of rap (often used synonymously with with hip hop) are found in African-American music and ultimately African music. The godfather of rap is Kool Herc, who is Jamaican. How you figured whites were involved, I'll never know.

have you ever heard of 2pac or lil jon. last time i heard they were black. the rap comes from africans and that as they talk about their backgrounds and how they were raised etc.
