On a Broadband networking tower for internet from a provider,is there a way to save the radio box from burning out through lightening strike from when it hits the aireal?

First, there are lots of advertised products that do not really do the job they say they will do. Even the best is not good enough in this situation. The only sure solution is to disconnect them.

Like my grandma always told me when lightening is in the area...disconnect all electronics (computers, cable, radio, tv) and run for cover. This means everything is SAFE including me when the storms and lightening have pass. I can't be without...So just DISCONNECT
