Go sit on the jetty with a line and catch some bait for the freezer. Get to meet new people and it's all so casual, swap bait, have a laugh, young and old are all there for the same reason.Sometimes you get to catch a real fish for cooking and that's a bonus. But it doesn't matter out there what age you are,the real young ones through to the elderly all talk to each other and it is so nice and the funny thing is.When you leave you realize that you haven't thought about anything that has been stressfull the whole time you were there.
A break from work or the mundanties of daily stress just requires a small space that is quiet. I go into self induced reverie within 2 yoga poses. A break from life just requires a short drive into the desert where a lovely quiet oasis awaits me. I peer into the water and watch the pup fish hold on tenaciously to their fragile lives. They win and my hope and faith is renewed.
Get out on my boat and let the waves take me! Either that or read a good book, take the dog out for a long walk, or unplug my phone. Kit Kat bars are a great break, too.
As you see my picture it says something about me.
I love the ocean and when i need a break i plane a trip close to the water.
Also music and dancing put me in a good mood.
