kidding but i do feel safe, ya learn when you live in a city.

its not safe in my country to walk in streets in late night,anything can happen. like the nuns ,we also can face problems with roadside romeo's or rappists or any terrorists.

i feel terrified when if i should walk in a street in late night.

Although we live rural and to far from a pub to have the problems that drunk pub leavers cause,it is still not safe to walk in the dark.I know this because a friend of mine who lives in a tiny suburb 10 kms down the road in the bush.Her ex would be out all night stalking and even drilled a hole into a neighbours house so he could perve into their bedroom! He was caught peeping in peoples windows and got bached one night.This man would be nearly 60 now.

Sure. It's well lit, well patrolled...and that's just the hookers.

I live in small town Canada where people don't even lock their doors at night! If I was out walking after dark, I'd have to pay someone to rape me! Wait - that didn't come out right! The biggest problem I'd have is I might trip over a stray cat!

Sure I feel safe. The only thing that bugs me are the barking dogs! Everyone has dogs around here and they don't know how to shut up!!! Doesn't make for a peaceful walk.

I like Heather's answer as I too would unleash some kind of wicked hurt on someone if they even thought they were going to hurt me or mine. I must throw out some kind of aura cause it's never happened.

My neighborhood is as safe as it gets. Thank goodness it's away from the rest of the town, because I wouldn't walk down a sidewalk in the day, let alone the night, unless I was in a Sherman tank! lol

Am very lucky, as where I live it is very safe.
Have been to places on my travels, where they would kill you just to get your kidneys and other body parts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Casino life baby, yeah you are gonna run into some drunks in the wee hours of the morning being as it is a 24 hour city of drinking, gambeling, and fun, but there are bike security patrols out all over the place! So feel free to come visit me and we will walk the streets at night together, only dealing with a few obnoxious drunks, and maybe someone trying to pay us for the night!
