Wow, my son years of drugging it up, and his drugger friends stold me blind. I can think of two times I was really really upset. One time was when I heard that my sons ex girlfriend had stold two of my porcelain precious moments dolls, the value at that time was well over 500.00 each. Brooke took them to sell at a pawn shop to support her drug habit. I have had numerous things stolden over the years but the one thing that really just about killed me was when my 25 day old grandson had passed away. That was June 15, 1997. It took until christmas to get his headstone up. The following April, I had gone out to the cemetary to put some easter stuff on his grave. I got to his grave, everything was missing, even his vase for flowers, and an angel that I had special ordered from the Hamilton collection and had glued down, it had been pryed off. I went up to ask the people in the main building if they by chance had taken the things off of my grandsons grave. They told me I was the 4th person that day. It just totally broke my heart, I felt like I had just lost my grandson all over again. I had pictures of his grave site, took to the police station. A few days later, I went to the police station to take a few more closer up pictures of the angel. A policeman from another town happen to see the pictures when I was talking to one of our officers. It wasn't a matter of the money, but it broke my heart, who would steal from a 25 day old babies grave? The police officer had remembered my angel, about 6 weeks later I got a call from that police dept, and went and got my angel. The boy who stold the things from the gravesites, ( 18 years old ) was quite the trouble maker and he had actually tried to dig up a grave in the town he was from. I didn't get the vase, or anything else back, but he had just stold things and threw them in a sandpit, just because he felt like it. I had written a letter to the judge saying I would like to ask this young man, what that 25 day old baby did to

deserve to have his grave robbed. The judge ask if I was in the court room and asked if I had anything to say, I was sobbing so hard I couldn't say anything but after court was over I saw this young man outside the door and I broke loose and screamed at him, I bet he will never forget me

I had an old water tank that I tried to get rid of for years. One day I put it outside near the garage and covered it with a tarp. The next morning it was gone. If they needed it more than I did they are still going to need one because there is a hole in the bottom of the tank. I'm glad they stole it.

My inheritance was stolen from me. Did my brother need it more than I did? He thought he must have, or he wouldn't have disgraced himself that way.

Is there anyone left on Earth who could actually answer your title question with a 'no?"
The first thing ever stolen from me was my ability to trust people. Because of this, none of the countless things stolen from me in the intervening 44 years really made it onto my radar.

True story: My sister had an old (but working) t.v. she put it in her driveway with a note on it, "free to good home". Not one taker. No one took it, no one asked about it. After a few days she was going to take it to Goodwill but placed a $20 price tag on it instead and left it in her driveway. The next morning - gone. No one wanted it for free, but wanted the hell out of it when they thought they were stealing it. Sad.
