my employer recently started giving check stubs with no detailed deductions. Today they announced they will be taking even more deductions from our pay, due to over payment for the past 5 months.

no it is not legal they have to show for what reson the money is being deducted for. you need to check into this and get it fixed good luck
All Employers must have proof of deductions no matter what the circumstances are because u will need them for tax deductions
