Where is your hernia? Is it inguinal, at the top of your pubic area? If so, you can lay down and gently massage it back in place. You should apply a truss while in that position and rise slowly. If it is an abdominal hernia of small magnitude, the same proceedure might help, and wear some kind of compression device/belly band. If you have esophageal hernias, you need to have medical treatment very soon. And if there is a lot of pain with any herniation, go to the doctor ASAP. Surgery is the only way they can be "cured". Don't suffer any further, get help. Good luck and good health.
