removed dist. spraed with wd40 inside,wiped it out,put a blowdryer on it,put it back together,same thing,cranks but no fire

Let it dry out, or pull each ignition wire one at a time. Squirt a little WD-40 in the plug boot end, and a little in the coilpac boot ends, or distributor boot ends. The WD stands for water displacement.Make sure you don't mix up any wires. one at a time!
if that doesn't work check for spark. or have someone turn it over in the dark, and observe under the hood, for ignition leaks (sparking any where)
