i don't have to much experience with this but after you have
made sure that it is not the adjustments on the TV.
you can try going to control panel/appearance and themes.
open display, or display properties and this will get you to the window that you can adjust color settings. choose the settings tab. take the slider on the screen resolution down as far as it will go. usually the lowest would be
800x600.
i think that the color quality should be 256-color but now a days they don't give you that option so make sure it displays 32 bit.
if these settings don't work than you will have to read about 256-color
under advanced settings button. on the bottom you will see a quick link
as a help file that you can read about
"running programs in 256-color mode"
