See; Case # 2009-DR-2868 in Leon County Courts. I have applied to Legal aid for assistance but I have not yet received a reply from them. My deadline to respond is 11-09-2009. Her reason is "Irretrievably Broken".
Ido not want a divorce and would do anything to let it work. The 17 and 11 years old boys will be affected Emotionally and Psycological for the rest of their lives. We made an important vow to God and people when we got married and I have a big problem breaking it.
Kindly please give me some feedback on what I should do by Monday. Also please advice on what I should say when I reply in writing.
Thanks-a-million-------ERIC//////850-322-2037
i am sorry for your situation. after 25 years it must be hard..
unfortunately your wife has accelerated your departure and it seems
like it is a done deal up till now.
you have two choices. she wants this and you have to chose either to
make a civilized breakup or fight it. you should have got a lawyer by now
and decided what would be most beneficial for the both of you.
you have two questions.
legal aid
divorce
i can't delve into records to retrieve your case and no one else on here can. you can't get legal aid before Monday so that is a mute point..
you are going to see the judge on Monday and that is what you will have to worry about. you need representation and that is what you will tell the judge on Monday.. you will ask for more time so you can get a lawyer
and do this right. also you mentioned the psychological effect on the kids.
the easiest for the kids is to do this without a fight. i don't want you to roll over for your wife but to do this in a civil manner. have you thought about
the custody of the kids.. you need to get with the program.. your wife is
light years ahead of you..
