I heard that they are somewhere out there orbiting Saturn. The Hubble Telescope has sent images back to scientists that show these tiny spherical objects wreaking havoc on the ring pattern. I don't know how to tell you this, but you lost those marbles in 1984. You only now have realized it. Read this article that proves my case.
Now it is emerging that an event around 25 years ago dramatically disrupted the rings - and all our telescopes and spacecraft missed it. This mysterious event suddenly warped the planet's innermost rings into a ridged spiral pattern, like the grooves on a vinyl record. The latest images reveal that the perturbation is so vast that only a profound change to the planet can have caused it.
The first hint that Saturn's rings had been perturbed came in 2006 from NASA's Cassini spacecraft, which took pictures of the planet's innermost ring, a tenuous, icy band called the D ring. Cassini found alternating light and dark bands that suggested the ring was not perfectly flat, but was composed of grooves, about a kilometre in amplitude.
I suggest you meet with NASA and 'fess up to what happened and see if they will help you recover them.
Baked any Marble Cake lately? Don't eat it! Pluck out your marbles and put them back where they belong. Make sure they don't scatter and roll away on you. Have you seen my half a deck? I'll trade it for your marbles! CMU!
I stumbled on one and it flew through the air and my boy swallowed it. Must have been the one that made you silly and a little off. I know he sure is now! I will have him fetch it when it passes and I'll get it back to you.
Yes its one of the dud ones, thats why I had to get rid of it, it was a bit dysfunctional - I've kept the best for me ... well... I thought I had.. do not adjust your set and hold on to your marbles, always good advice!
Heather, are you to start forgetting things, behaving strangely, or becoming mentally ill I haven't lost my marbles yet. <lol> You begun to lose you marbles, and there's nothing I can do. <lol>
hahahahahaha I think our marbles must be related because we've been twice removed already, but marbles will be marbles, cute li'l things! P.S what colour were yours? If I see em i'll grab em, were they any good? LMAO!!!!
