Waldorf is one of my favorites.It's chopped up red skinned apples,celery,chopped walnuts,lettuce leaves,lemon juice and mayonnaise.It sounds awful but it tastes great.

I had a salad the other day that was out of this world! It had mandarin orange segments, grapefruit, nuts, chinese noodles, grilled chicken and a spicy mango dressing on a bed of greens. Wow... I think I'm going to make one for lunch!

I have a favourite. On a bed of raw spinach, put sliced avocado, sliced mozarella, sliced tomatoes and sprinkle with toasted Pine nuts. Then dress it with Fresh Basil dressing. yum!

This goes well with Pizza and a bottle of Chianti! Woohoo!!!!

i love macaroni salad. I use to hate macaroni salad until my friend brought some macaroni salad to a company picnic. I loved it. She added onions, carrots, radishes, fresh tomatoes, fresh brocolli, green peppers and just a little bit of mayo mixed with ranch dressing. It is delicious

I am a salad lover. Greek salad with feta cheese and olives, italian ones with salami and pasta, even ordinarary iceberg lettuce cold and crisp with Roquefort dressing..... excuse me... I ... need ...t o ...go... make ..a ...salad. BRB

When I was a little boy I thought I hated salads. I went away to college and we decided to eat out. There was an item that said salad with house dressing. I ordered it and loved it. I did not know there was a dressing besides French. I don't know why I don't like French dressing, but I still don't. Can you believe my ignorance? How much healthier would I be if I had eaten my salads when young?
Today, I love any salad with Ranch as my favorite dressing. I go through a salad bar and put everything on it especially Garbanzo beans and black olives. (mushrooms, croutons and bacon bits ) I grow most of my own tomatoes and I would love to have everybody over for a salad with those on it. Home grown is not the same as store bought.
