“Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me (Ps 51:11).” “But they rebelled, and vexed his Holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them. 11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him (Isa 63:10-11)?”

Here are a few examples in the Old Testament where the Spirit of Elohim or Yahweh was given to man revealing the 9 divine attributes (Intelligence, Wisdom, Knowledge, Love, Beauty, Justice, Foundation, Power, Strength):

Moses wrote that Yahweh would put His Spirit in the craftsmen that built the tabernacle in the Wilderness, which would give wisdom and knowledge. “Then Yahweh (the LORD) said to Moses, 2 “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of Elohim (God), with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts 4 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, 5 to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of craftsmanship (Ex 31:1-5).” Here the Holy Spirit is instantly giving humans the knowledge or the skills to build the tabernacle. When Moses was over burdened with the people of Israel, he cried to Yahweh who took some of the Spirit of Elohim that was in Moses and put it on the 70 elders, and they began to prophesy (Num. 11:25)
Spirit
Definition: The Hebrew word ru′ach and the Greek pneu′ma, which are often translated “spirit,” have a number of meanings. All of them refer to that which is invisible to human sight and which gives evidence of force in motion. The Hebrew and Greek words are used with reference to (1) wind, (2) the active life-force in earthly creatures, (3) the impelling force that issues from a person’s figurative heart and that causes him to say and do things in a certain way, (4) inspired utterances originating with an invisible source, (5) spirit persons, and (6) God’s active force, or holy spirit. Several of these usages are here discussed in relation to topics that may arise in the field ministry.
What is the holy spirit?
A comparison of Bible texts that refer to the holy spirit shows that it is spoken of as ‘filling’ people; they can be ‘baptized’ with it; and they can be “anointed” with it. (Luke 1:41; Matt. 3:11; Acts 10:38) None of these expressions would be appropriate if the holy spirit were a person.
Jesus also referred to the holy spirit as a “helper” (Greek, pa·ra′kle·tos), and he said that this helper would “teach,” “bear witness,” “speak,” and ‘hear.’ (John 14:16, 17, 26; 15:26; 16:13) .
