My favorite music is defintely Jazz. The old stuff from the Dave Brubeck era into Billy Holiday and Louis Armstrong and todays vocalists like Natalie Cole and Diane Krall are my favs, but I can get into the latino, New Orleans and even a bit of "fusion" jazz. I really can't pick my favorite movie. I am not real good at watching them over and over. I love drama with a real setting like Sophie's Choice and Shindler's list. But I also love musicals like Chicago, which has me excited to see NINE. I also enjoy watching comedies, trite and bitchy or intricate and provocative. It all depends on my mood and my ability to sit still for 2 hours! How about you. Got favorites?

My favorite music is 80's Retro...including Pop, Metal and Country from that era. My favorite movie is Fatal Attraction(1987), a film that is superbly acted and sends a moral message to those who want to risk breaking up their family for a one night stand that could prove deadly for the whole family. It's difficult to pick just one category of music or just one movie, as there are many genres of both. Well, you did ask for one of each, so I'll stick with what I've posted here. 100 point game show...that's a new and unique idea!

I love Jazz Funk, piano, latin Guitar and melt with the Tenor Sax. A favourite film of mine is 'Laughter in Paradise' It is the funniest comedy, made in 1951, starring Alastair Sim, Joyce Grenfell and Audrey Hepburn. I remember watching it on a Sunday afternoon, years ago at my parent's house.

A very rich uncle dies, all the family gather for the reading of the will, only to find that he has set them all various tasks to do.. I won't say any more.. !

OK, my movie pic category is Si fi....movies with the promise of a good and lasting future for the human race.. yes the human race will survive..
the two top choices would be star wars verses star trek. star wars was a great epic with action and honor. good verses bad.. but i find it hard at times to keep drawing out a single story line over years to what purpose.
we know that the Jedi will win.. that is no surprise.. this is the draw for me on star trek. each movie was a stand alone story with the same actors.
they had the action and displayed the fundamental positive aspect that the human race will triumph. but not knowing the end results until the end..

also another movie comes to mind.. a movie with hope and mystery
and all the feel good feeling that you could want plus the best animated
devil.. big and red with huge horns.. the movie was called legend. with
tom cruse. not to many people saw this movie but i really liked it for the special affects. this is a magical land with unicorns and fairies and stuff..
