One's talents are innately unique to an individual. One is born with talents, and regardless of the name that we become attached with, talent, or a lack thereof, will manifest over time.
Just because one names their son Walter Payton or Dick Butkus (yes, I'm a Chicagoan), doesn't mean that they will have the talent and heart that made those men the outstanding football players they were.
Just because you name your child Leonardo Da Vinci or Michelangelo Buonaratti doesn't mean that your child will have artistic genius.
Just because you name your child Sergei Rachmaninoff or Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart will not provide him with the gift of music.
A name is merely a label. A name does not define the person. What is inside a person is what defines them. Their genetic gifts are what provide the talent that will hopefully manifest and develope over time. Hopefully, their names will become household words because of what it is that they share with the world around them.
In one psych course I took, this topic came up. The only point that I would agree with was that the parents may have treated the child the way the child's name dictated. You know the cutesy Debbie, Susie, Tammy thing may have informed them how they were expected to act (socialization) but I still believe our name isn't a very large part of who most of us become.

no elvis robbie what ever the name is not going to afect you and who you are!!!!
Its all about how much you can take in s an individual ect.But love the question hun x
Although I'm familiar with the study of Numerology, I haven't studied it sufficiently to tell you. You can google search this and am sure you will see what your names reveal! I find a lot of the 'ologies, fascinating subjects.
Names do have some influence. They strike other people in a certain way. Consider why entertainment and writers often use a different name. The name they choose has an appeal that their real one may not.
Then there is the boy named Sue. I have known people who were a little ashamed of their name. That has to have an influence.
If you are named for a talent or an occupation it might be that you inherited some talent for that from some ancestor. Then the question of environment versus genetics arises.
I would rather not get into numerology or your initials have to have a meaning.
There are diseases associated with names. For instance asthma sufferers often have a different type first name.
Whatever influences these things may have, they are minor compared to what the individual might want to accomplish. At least in America today a person can accomplish what they will if they work at it and develop the talent they have.
Certain names portray certain personalities, but individuality plays a key role in talents. The name really has nothing to do with any abilities or talents etc.. It's all how the person wants to act or is capable of actually doing.
