Marxism in a nutshell:

Karl Marx believed that history is a record of class struggle between the wealthy and the poor and blamed private property a the source of the conflict. Marxism is against capitalism. Karl Marx believed that the profits of all production should be distributed according to the principle "from each according to his abilities, to each according to his need" Marx taught that the change from capitalism to socialism would occur whe the working classs overthrew the middle class and controlled the government. Marx tried to get people to believe that representative government in capitalist countries is just a "committee of the bourgeoisie". Anyways. Marx said that the working class would be in a temporary form of government and that eventually the state would wither away and there will come a perfect condition known as communism. So far, it hasn't worked.
