When a man has an erection, is it true that it wont go away until he has sex?
Additional Details added 1 year ago
Ok, Thank you everyone who answered "No" Thank Goodness for Askpedia. I have other questions about sex but I am worried about getting banned, plus some are kind of embarrassing, can I ask a question that is only seen by one or a group of people? Or should I go ahead and let everyone know how dumb I am?

No. When a male get an erection it means that blood flow is rushing to the penis. It is only temporary.

Not true at all. Men get erections all the time when they are sleeping for a multitude of reasons, and they go away without sex.

It's not dumb to find answers for the questions you have. Just keep the questions tactfully and tasteful and you should be just fine

No. When his brain is chaged with sexual desire and fantasy then the blood from other parts rushes in penis to fill it and erect it to around 500%. Later when brain signals the satisfaction then blood rushes back to toher parts where it is required in that oment to subside the erection.

That is why it is not at all true that erection subsides only after sex.

I think young men use this as a way to get sex. Antone with a moderate level of self control can forego the sex and live.

I don't know about asking questions that are too much for Askpedia? Maybe you can word it in a way that isn't against rules.
