If the question is only concerned with NUMERIC combinations then using the numbers 1-9, each digit can have 9 possible entries making a total of :-
9 x 9 x 9 x 9 x 9 x 9 = 531441 combinations.

If alpha characters in just upper or lower case are also incorporated then each digit can have 35 possible entries (26 letters + 9 numbers) or 61 possible entries if both upper and lower case are permitted.
The mathematics then give the number of combinations as 35^6 or 61^6 - I'll leave you to do the calculations.
