If it is bright red blood, it is probably hemmorhoids leaking. If it is darker or clotting, go to your doctor and have it checked as soon as possible. If you have an open sore or fissure, it needs to be treated. If it is hemmorhoids, try to use steroidal/anthistemic suppositories (Preparation H) to help shrink them. Try to have softer and more easily defecated bowel movements by putting more fiber and fluids into your diet, too. This decreases the strain and pressure on the fragile tissue.
