I was wondering what is with this new Hollywood trend.
Having or adopting kids! They are having children or adopting them faster then they can spell c-h-i-l-d-r-e-n. How many does Brad and Anglia have now? 4, 5, 6,...9 I don't know. And Brittany, getting married, un-married, married, not, married, not... married? She wants her kids, then she doesn't want them, then wants them. The J-lo had twins, and then the Queen of pop had a kid. The Hallie Berry and Jessica Alba.... and now the thing with Kate Hudson, all going to have babies.
These children born into these kinds of famous families will never have a chance with a normal life. I bet the 95% of them will not live a normal childhood, and thats sad to think about that.
And by the year 2100 ( less then a 100years from now) All of Hollywood will be related to each other!
What do you think about this all?

What I'm asking is that do you think that these famous people that live their life in the fast lane shoud be having children. Where the kid is going to be raised by a nanny, and be living in the spot light or in the shadow of the spot light of their parents. Some of the parents i think are not responcible enough to have kids.

Normal as in parents raising the children. normals for me would be the kids having a life that when you go to a movie your not watching your mom and dad acting in the movie you are watching. Going to bed on time. I guess a normal childhood means different things for different people. Some actors kid would have a normal life...I not saying it bad for them to have kids, it would just be tought living inthe spot light all the time.

UK star Andrew Lancel and his wife Louise
On what they think of each other as parents:

A: Well Lou is brilliant. She's a really good mother, she's fun and of course, she still looks absolutely gorgeous. The kids she teaches adore her, because she is so great with them, and that's an extension of that. I think we've adapted really well. We were both geared up for it because we'd planned it and really wanted it. But nothing prepares you for the reality of a new baby.

It's tiring and it's continual -- we can leave the dog for four hours, but we can't leave Isaac for four seconds. But we want to be with him every single second. We've shared absolutely everything - we try to keep it all even. Especially as I know there are times when I know I won't see him for days on end when I'm back in work.

L: Andrew is 21st century dad. From the beginning he's done all the middle-of-the-night feeds so I could get some rest, but I've just taken over because he's shattered. As we're married, we obviously have that tight bond, but it has got stronger. We are a complete unit and the priority for both of us is the baby. It's incredible how much it changes you straight away

One thing that's staying the same...

A: Because I've had the time off, it's been great. We've already taken him away with us to hotels. I'm a big foodie and love trying different restaurants, and Isaac's not going to change that.

On the best thing a parent can give a child:

A: Time! It's easy to say, because I know we're all busy, but if you've got two minutes to spend with your child, spend the two minutes and not one minute thirty seconds. We are determined not to miss a moment. That is why he is going everywhere with us. If we are invited to a dinner party, he comes.

Breaking: Nicole Kidman Spotted Being a Mother!
For the first time in over two years, Nicole Kidman has been spotted with her children. Nic was spotted with Isabella and Connor Cruise in Sydney,

Celebrity Nannies: Blessing or Curse?

Bruce Willis & Demi Moore had four at once.

Jude Law slept with his.

Robin Williams ended up marrying his.

Madonna recently had to stop hers from telling all.

Britney Spears got nude in front of hers.

Tom Cruise is said to have the most iron-clad confidentiality agreements with his.

Noel Gallagher and Patsy Kensit have been known to provide flats and sports cars for their's.

But, at what price?

We're talking about nannies of course: the silent backbones of most every celebrity family. Leslie Gornstein from Live Daily interviewed Kim Hong, former nanny to an action-movie mogul's family, and broke down the fundamentals:

Most celebrities have at least three nannies per kid--one for weekdays, one for weeknights and a third for weekends and trips. Lucky nannies get a whole $30 per hour. That's enough to buy, well, nothing, actually, over at Fred Segal and all the other fancy shops where they must take the young (ones) to buy their mini-Uggs.

The nanny is responsible for packing lunches, preparing dinner, playing games, reading bedtime stories, overseeing homework assignments, bathing the children, making sure they brush their teeth, dressing them appropriately, picking up after them, and transporting them to and from school, karate class, the chiropractor, Spanish class, birthday parties at other celebrities' homes and any other trip.

The kids usually end up treating their nannies like assistants."

While most nannies are bound by their confidentiality agreements - Tom Cruise reportedly won't even allow his to divulge who they work for - some go on to make a lucrative career with their celebrity experiences.

Suzanne Hansen's book You'll Never Nanny In This Town Again became a NY Times Bestseller when it promised juicy tidbits about her former employer, Hollywood uber-agent Michael Ovitz, exposing intimate details of his family's life from marital spats to what they ate for dinner.

It makes you wonder, is hiring a nanny worth it? Would you trade your privacy to have the help?

[IMO]

Celebrities parents come by all walks of profession...Actor/Actress , Pop Stars, Television Hosts, Entertainers of any kind, etc. These people chose to have children. Just as non celebrities choose to have children. The only separates between the celebrity and non celebrity is "MONEY'.

No matter what people status are, and if they can afford a nanny or nannies so be it. Having a nanny/nannies doesn't mean that parent doesn't love their child/ren or they are not involve with their child/ren.

So what those celebrities' children receives spotlight. Who really cares. Is it because they won't have a normal kid life. Who says the won't unless the media keeps hounding the poor little ones and their parents. If I were a celebrity, I would shield my children and plus have a nanny. My children still would be able to live a normal life.

Let me say also, these celebrities have parents just like non celebrities..Perhaps their parents were involve in having children. Parents always hint that they wish to become grandparents :-)

It's not just Hollywood, it happens in all walks of life...
and the Media condones this behavior. Most of "role models" in Hollywood have no morals. And our kids look up to these people, because there are REAL role models in their lives.

As far as the movie stars adopting, it's *sometimes* for the publicity and their latest "cause".

It's the breakdown of the family unit.
It's not just more divorce but fewer marriages and more babies.
Nobody wants to take the responsibility of being a parent.
Nobody wants to discipline their kids.

Ignorance & sticking one's head in the sand seems to be the norm now. It's pretty sad.

This is what I call slave of so called personalities and celebrities.

This is what is called inferirority complex against these celebrities.

This is what is called lack of confidence compared to all these so called celebrities.

Let us treat them just like any other normal human being then you will find a lot of difference in your own life.

You will not be wasting your precious time reading all these non sensse stuff as th whne or how and where they delivered babies as any other women in this world when is pregnant delivers a baby.

Common now.. Stop reading these stupid materials and save your precious money & time.

Children in Hollywood are becoming accessories in the grand scheme of things and baby bumbs are the new black. With pregnant women just wanting the glow, and the attention after the deliver...we'll im no gynacologist or a father but i'm pretty sure that after having that baby the glow's replaced by bags and wrinkles from hours spent doing early morning feedings and once "people" magazine has the first baby pictures the novelty and the press are going to fad away

What's wrong? Didn't Brad and Angelina pick you out of the line at the adoption home? Who cares. At least some kids will get love and happiness that many others will never get. And Hollywood is already related to each other in some way or another.

its very nice when celebrities use their fame and fortune for good causes rather than use spending the money on their exuberent lifestyle...
whats important they have saved the life of any child from anywhere of another less fortunate child...is more than worth living for.

What is normal ? For Kate Hudson and Angelina Jolie the life that their children lead will probably be similar to how they grew up, having famous parents of their own. And quite frankly I would say that the "Hollywood kids" are the minority in this world. At least if they grow up to be a mess they will be able to afford the best in therapy. Why don't you spend a little time worrying about the mass of crack babies being born and growing up on the streets without parents to speak of.

I don't think there is a definitive definition for 'normal' because what is normal to one person, can be the opposite to another. I think it comes down to choice. Each celebrity has a choice to be a good or a bad parent, whatever that may entail is again defined by individuals or the Media. Some people class Brittany as a 'bad' mother. She might only be following the parenting skills she learnt from her own childhood. Some may say that Brad and Angelina are very caring people for adopting children who otherwise might have a very hard childhood and life. They may be considered good role models because they advertise the plight of thousands of children around the world who need loving, nurturing, caring homes to grow up in. Each of us has our own opinion on that.

Many 'ordinary' people have to use the services of Nannies or Child-Minders whilst they go out to work to be able to support their children. I don't think this is an exclusive facility to Celebrities or the Wealthy. I believe a lot of Celebrities shield their children from the press/media for security reasons and also to protect them from the invasion of family privacy.

It comes down to choice. I don't believe celebrities should be banned from having children - what kind of a World would that be if somehow it was 'dictated' as to who could or could not have children. It makes me shiver to think of a World like that.

Children are a blessing and challenge us to grow ourselves through teaching them to grow.

Shouldn't every Human Being have the right to experience that if they choose to, whether they are 'normal' or a 'celebrity?'
