There is a common belief that "a man should know better" and "have a little self-restraint" when presented with an overly provocative situation which in this case would be a short skirt. Regardless of the fact that this is a popular idea you should understand that it simply isn't true. Intentionally provoking someone in order to gain a response and then blaming the person for responding is not only confusing but is also abusive. There is absolutely nothing wrong with looking good but wearing a short skirt and expecting a man to not respond or have the "wrong idea" is simply instigating and immature.

Personally i wear short skirts juss to show of my legs and wen its hot, or whenever i feel like it, but to answer your question i think yes and no because men think differently about apperance they're more shallow, so when u where a short skirt thats REALLY short and i mean REALLY short then they might think youre eager to get a little attention but if its juss a plain mini then they think you might just look hot. So to be honest with you it all depends on the guy, who assumes things like that, and has dumb assumptions, and picking up the wrong symbols ( and or ideas). lol hope that helps

No, wearing a short skirt suggests A. you live in a very hot climate ( probably not) or B. you want to show yourself as a female and present all your best assets ( you probably have make up on, jewels , cleavage top even chicken fillets.) Basicly your strutting your stuff and want to feel attractive. Now to the other species. There are us (men) who are comfertable with our selves and us who arnt. Us who are comefertable and have a high self esteem are the ones who give you the times of your life. The touchy feely , gropy guys are the ones who arnt comfertable talking to a woman and are normally very shy & hiding the fact. I call them The Boys. The third is us bastards who's basic concept is: Treat a lady like a Slut & a Slut like a lady and they all love you. No' wearing a skirt doesnt suggest you want to be touched but advertises your femininity and depending how short. Teases the male sexuality, like the only sweet in the shop we are told dont we are not allowed to taste.

I say enjoy your youth and figure while you have it! If you look good and feel good, then what the heck? No, I don't think it suggests you want to be touched. Most men will be happy to admire you from afar but there is always the chance that you will get attention you don't want, just take no notice of them and walk on!
Hell, enjoy your clothes and your youth, when you get past a certain age you won't be able to do it! Dress for You !!

It only suggests it to guys, not men. There is a difference. If you are not being treated with respect, you are not dealing with a man.
