isobars,are a series of not necessarily round circles, on a weather map.
in the inner center circle, is an L, or H indicating, high, or low pressure. Used for determining, weather movement, as the winds move from high pressure areas to low. the frequency of the lines of the isobar system drawing, indicates the speed of the winds. The closer together the lines, the higher the wind speeds, the further apart of course the lower the wind speeds. determing the speed of the weather system movement.
