You incorrectly brush and miss the gum line. You need a good power
toothbrush set like a Braun, also cheap tooth past brands are no good.

plaque build up over time weakens the tooth enamle, and when u bit something hard the wrong way breaks it.

The main reason is that the root of the tooth is supported by bone around it. It breaks at the weakest place.
Another common reason is that cervical erosion has occurred. This can occur from brushing incorrectly across the tooth. The tooth can actually bend back and forth. This creates a weak area.
