transporting nitroglycerin from one location to another. It cannot get too hot, cannot be jarred or bounced around. Another instance is moving a house from one area to another - extra people are necessary to help avoid overhead lines, block traffic, etc.

The National Nuclear Security Administration travels the globe, locating unsecured (or poorly-secured) weapons grade Uranium and bringing it back to the United States for safe keeping so it doesn't fall into the hands of terrorists or countries like Iran and North Korea, who would just love the opportunity to nuke us into the Stone Age. To date, they have secured more than 1500 pounds of weaponized radioactive materials. That's just the tip of the iceberg.
THAT would definitely require additional support. Instead, we are slashing their budget "to create jobs."
