gas is heavier than air. so if you have a basement, make sure you air it out too. do not turn on anything that will make a spark. if you have a downstairs neighbor check on them. an hour or so if there's a breeze should be fine.

if you can't smell it (mind you go outside and reset your nose) you should be safe.
