Opinions with Youtube!?!?

On the 24th June 2009 Youtube announced that their will be a new channel design for all the youtube channels (web pages).

Youtube insist that the new channels are alot better looking and have "alot more cooler features."

Youtube are getting rid of the old channels and forcing the new ones to all members of youtube. From the 24th June till the 7th July there was 14516 comments left and were mostly not good. From reading through it, not many people wanted the new channels.

It looks like youtube have listened to there users and have made it optional if you want the new channels or not. I think thats a good thing! Unless there is just another delay in the forced migration of channels. If anyone wants to upgrade there channel, click http://www.youtube.com/super_seekrit

Michael, this is some impressive set up. I've been on YouTube for years now, finding and listening(plus those great music videos)to my favorite music groups, watching t.v. shows from my childhood and so many other excellent offerings. I wasn't aware of any of this, because I haven't been on in awhile. I do have the old design, but once I got in there and watched U2's video of 'I'll Go Crazy If You Don't Go Crazy", the picture and sound quality were so much better in the new version. I can access this new design, and yes, I signed the petition. I haven't explored everything yet, but what I've seen so far...I'm so glad you posted this Q. I would not have known otherwise. Thanks so much for making me aware of this. I'll be enjoying YouTube in an entirely new way. I checked out the comments...I think this is going to be a great thing. What about you? What's your impression of this? I'd like to hear another YouTube Fan's opinion. I'm going to be telling friends family about this, Michael!!
