the wife told me that Madonna did this gig for free to promote her new
up-coming album. that one song she sang was so egotistical. her old songs were good to listen to but the other stuff was expected.
i am not a big Madonna fan but the wife seemed to like it.

There were some funny commercials but overall seemed a little downplayed this year, and I dont like madonna so I would not have noticed if she was off.

When Madonna was taking off her skirt decoration for the cheerlead
I thought ohh boy.. panties! Then Stevie, big Stevie Wonder... stepped
in front as she played at struggling to take off something on her skirt,
which I KNEW right there was a definite parody on JJ from 2004.
Oh, yah Madonna seemed to have a problem with
it (the belt things) and they stuck some gold pompoms to cover
her up. It was all momentary - a few seconds, but I caught it!

Yes!some of the commercial were kinda good like the one with the guy aafter he graduated and he thought his parents got him a car but really got him the fridgeXD the car was actully the neighbors..the neighbor was like wth!!XDD epic fail!btw giants won!GO GIANTS!

Madonna had planned many things for the half time show. In an interview about what she wanted too do and what they allowed her to do may have been a bit of the problem but even her performance was not as flamboyant as her usual shows. Well that could have been censored as well, As to the commercials on Cable in Canada we don't get to see the USA commercials. The CTV takes over at commercial time. Good Game Though

I prefer for them not to have a halftime show, if what I saw was the best that they could get.

We didn't like the half-time show either.Of course, I've never liked Madonna. I thought the best commercial was the Chevy end of the world one. My wife thought the little boy who had to go to the bathroom and jumped back in the pool was best but didn't know who the commercial was for??????? Any guesses? As it turned out best commercials 1-2-3 all went to dogs.

We don't get all this exciting stuff in the U.K.
I like Madonna but as a singer currently in vogue (pardon the pun) I like NIcki Minaj even more and my wife has most if not all of Cee Lo Green's albums.

For our major sporting events we have the occasional celebrity singer but nothing along your razzle dazzle lines.

Yes, the show was a bit boring. On the other hand Madonna is getting up there. I thought she was in pretty good shape and she did do a flip.

I watched it, but did not see the one who gave us the bird. That was not too big a deal. The commercials were not too good either. It is not just you.

At least we had a close game to watch.
