I am on permanent disability and receive a monthly Social Security check. After 22 1/2 years together we are thinking of getting married.
Will this effect the amount of Social Security I receive?

Marriage will not affect your disability benefits you receive through social security. It might affect other benefits you might receive. Marriage can only improve your social security benefits, but only under some circumstances.
