My favorite memory of Michael Jackson was seeing him perform the Moonwalk and strut his stuff on the Motown Special they had on in 1986. I recall being in awe of his dance moves, and ofcourse my friends and I tried to mimic some of his famous moves. It showcased his many talents and was just plain fun for a young kid my age to watch. There are so many to choose from, but this one has stuck with me throughout my life. I hope he finally finds some peace after all the hardships he had to endure.

I'm dating myself, but I remember watchng him (and the Beatles, the Stones and the Doors) on Ed Sullivan. He was such a talented guy...great music, great moves...a sad shadow of his former self. It makes a person really wonder about the price kids pay for fame and fortune with stage parents that push and drive them too much. He was so screwed up...his poor kids are going to pay the price.

My kids were big Michael Jackson fans when they were teens, so I got to see his videos and listen to his music with them. In the spring of '82 I was in Hollywood California staying at the hotel on the Universal Studio Lot - Michael was staying there at the same time because he was performing at the Oscars at the Universal Collosseum - I didn't see him, he had a suite with a private elevator - but we were told he was there, as well as Liza Minnelli, Johnny Cash and Julio Iglasius. I did see Johnny Cash in the gift shop! It was exciting! Rest in peace Michael!

my best memory of him is when he was brown and it is strange because one of our friends on AP was just bitching about him a while back. Now he is dead they suddenly turn around and like him!!! I posted the Q about this subject and now I am seeing it happen right in front of my face. Some people are hateful towards others and when the person dies they go oh suck suck suck.
So is it OK to bitch about someone when they are alive and give them hell?
