Geo Metro (How to switch from TBI and computer to carb and electronic distribut

Is it possible to switch the TBI for a earlier model carb and change the distributor to one with points, then scrap the computer.I'm putting a 1996 metro engine and tranny on an ATV.I can make an adaptor plate for the carb if I had to but will the distributors swap without changing the head. Any and all sugestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Darren Tisko5@aol.com

I hate to see a question with no answer and since we've all been chewed out for being superficial and stupid let me be the first to respond.

It IS possible to switch the TBI for an earlier model carb and change the distributor to one with points and scrap the computer. You have to reconstruct the mechanism in the tranny and torque the engine, but yeah... go for it!!!!
