I'M HERE ! and realy enjoy you being here as well.We all have bad days and want to express ourselves on AP, I do it myself,so understand just what you mean.I don't have much family and most of them are arseholes anyway so i'ts great to have friends on AP.

Thats just it, no one need feel alone when they go on Ap! and you never know what problem you're going to encounter next and to feel you've helped others is just GreaT! You're all a great bunch!

You couldn't have said it better, Rachel. I do have family, and am closer to some than others, but I do feel like AP is like a sort of second family. I think it's incredible that I get to talk to people from other countries or other states. I'd probably have never met them otherwise. I really like and admire so many people on AP, and feel I have made friendships and connections on my time here that I would never have been able to make in my community. I often wish that I could hop a plane and visit some of you. I'm so glad I met you and have gotten to know you during the time I've been on here. You make me feel welcome and you always treat me with respect, plus we have similar tastes in movies and opinions. I really admire your sense of humor and your enthusiasm for being a good worker at whatever job you're working in. I always look forward to answering your questions and trading views on different experiences. I consider you a friend and am so glad you're on AP. Hope everything is good in your life right now and you know I always wish you best of luck and happiness in your future. You Rock, Sister!!

I do have family scattered all over North America, but the askpedia family is special - being on the site makes me feel surrounded by friends. It's a nice feeling!

What started out as an attempt to get help for a legal matter has turned into a richly rewarding experience for me. I have no family to speak of, other than my daughter. I have a brother that I no longer speak to. That's it. I do have my fiancee's huge Irish catholic family which has been wonderful, but they are his family, not mine.
I also have this growing AP family, which has been such a wonderful thing. I am making more friends on here all the time. I have been encouraging the members to join Facebook so that we can share pictures and chat online. We can see what's happening in each other's lives without having to see them or phone them.
Rachel, you are like a daughter to me... you aren't much younger than my own daughter. Damian, Jason Pyle, Kyle, Eoinsully and Mikester are like my funny, naughty little brothers. Here ta help ya is like a little sister to me. MB is a friend and peer. Richard is the AP patriarch. Kc and Whatever are my sassy girlfriends. Heather is my brit friend. Annadel is a doll. There are so many people that are being added to my family list that I can't list them all. I know there are people that I haven't listed, but this ever expanding family is truly special.
It's so good to know that we are here for each other whenever we have need of a friend or advice.

I really do love this site and it is important to me, I do have a small family which I am extermely close too unlike some other people so I am lucky in that way, Both my family and friends are extermely important to me.

Being on this website has done alot for me and I am grateful to every single member I have come into contact with. Thanks You everyone for being here and it is a pleasure to be with you all. You have helped me learn and gave me the chance to express my opinion.
