A lot of the best things in life that are free, such as love of family/friends, enjoying a beautiful day or giving of yourself to better your community/world. I do agree that they do come with a cost because we as human beings have to have the mindset and the capability to either choose to accept these gifts and use them for the better, or abuse them and suffer the consequences. By showing that we are worthy of these blessings and reciprocating them, we are using the choice given to us. Free? I think you have to work to keep these as a constant in your life, and be prepared for rejection, opposition, change, and the occasional disappointment. If we are determined, these little "price tags" won't stand in our way, and we'll keep on trucking. I always keep in mind that these things do not "belong" to us, but rather are "on loan".
The moon belongs to everyone
The best things in life are free,
The stars belong to everyone
They gleam there for you and me.
The flowers in Spring,
The robins that sing,
The sunbeams that shine
They're yours,
They're mine!
And love can come to everyone,
The best things in life are free.
The Best Things in Life are Free is a song written by B.G. DeSylva, Lew Brown, and Ray Henderson for the musical "Good News" which opened on September 6, 1927 in the 46th Street Theater in New York City.
I am only going to give an upbeat answer to a beautiful talented girl like you.
Sure, one can rant about the costs of life, but why do that when we can enjoy so many things?
And Askpedia is free and it is the best, isn't it?
Yes, they are free.
Love, Happiness, Hope, Faith = can't buy them.
How do you put a price on good health if you have a disease that doesn't have a cure. You could spend all the money in the world but money can't buy life.
i don't think i would want something for free. it always gives me the feeling like i owe them something. obligation comes at a price. it could be good for you or bad.- in relationships-- you have givers and takers. yin and yan.. but to take without the realization of giving back,, sometime ,,somewhere,, is a misconception of reality. you always have to give back. if you don't want to,
and try not to, than you will,, in ways that you never thought of. usualy bad..
this is called
karma...
Great question! If you are born with a silver spoon in your mouth, then things do come free. If you are born into a poor family, then there is a price to pay for everything. The first thing you pay for is your parents misfortune.
My lady I have always found that the good things in life aren't free and that there is always some kind of attachment involved with them?? Comes love the problems it has and with hate the same thning , some are good for us as others are bad for us but its our maturity to know the difference between each other and I have found mine but at a great price, my heart!!
As it happens I believe the best thing in life is also the most expensive, despite being advertised a "free". The best thing is God's favouritism and despite being told that repentance is free it actually costs your whole life. All the secrects, all the fears, all the praise and all the glory. You must give your whole life to Him not just the time that you spend with His children. Pay the full price and you will get the full Blessing.
The best things in life which are free are the things that you, and you alone, control; your words. With your words you can harm or help, destroy or rebuild, diminish or enhance.
They cost you nothing, but are incredibly powerful.
