okay, it has been a long time since i registered and licensed a boat, but I think I remember how it went. I went to a marina up the road with the boat and sales slip in hand. They said okay to registering it at their marina, tried to rent me a docking slip (but we lived on the river only a block away and had a personal dock) then they helped me get a license, I paid them and the official paperwork came in the mail. I really don't remember it being any more difficult than that. But that was long time ago in a friendlier world. I really hope you get it registered and licensed. Practice good driving and don't drink and drive.
