When a girl is using a pet name instead my real name, What does it means?

Well, I met this great girl at the gym and she isn't call me by my real private name (Ranimi), she now call me in a pet name she made up like Ran, Ranos, Ranim-nim, Ranimos and more. Is that a good sign? Should I ask her out or it meaningless?

I don't see her doing this to other guys she knows.

She probably can't pronouce your real name correctly, therefore she just shorten it. If you like the way she pronounces "Ran" then go for it. Ask her out....

If she has only one or two pet names for you, she likes you.

If she has lots of nic-names for you, she just cant say your name

yes you should ask her out but dont be pushy when a girl gives you a pet name it most likely means that she likes you so ask her out but not any thing too fancy that might freak her out ask her to a movie or something like that for the first date
