Yep, a Big Mac. It was undercooked but we hadn't eaten in 24 hours and I was STARVING! I wound up getting sick. Most disgusting thing I've ever put into my body.
yes.. it was in savu savu. second island of the figi chain and the king of the village sponsored a luau. but it wasen't with hawian food. it was with local fair and it was wierd. fish in cocanut milk, wierd vegies and i can't remember what else. i was the only one in the group that went for second helpings because i knew that it was wierd so i just took very small bits the first time around and got something i could eat the second round. everyone was amazed that i liked the food but to tell the truth, most of it i dumped. but the village lead woman,( i don't know what to call her). the wife of the lead man in the village was happy that someone didn't turn green. everyone else just stood around with full plates of food not knowing what to do with them and how to dispose of them politely.if you don't know what visiting a third world country is like than you might not know how the other half live.
I was staying with friends one night after a party - I was a wee bit tipsy and starving, so I went scrounging around in their fridge at two in the morning and woofed down an entire plate of luncheon meat. Woofed is a good word because the next morning, my friend couldn't find the dog food she had left in the fridge the previous day! I didn't puke, but I was growly for two days!
