Is it me, or is getting more scary out there. I go out and I sometimes think people are staring at me, I also see people staring at people my age group more. I like to wear fashionable clothes, But should I cover up completely when I go out to stop this. Even in my uniform I see people looking.
Am I completely paranoid and should get a life?
This is much better question/answer thing, you can't hear people laugh at your silly questions
I know what you mean. How old are you if you don't mind me asking? I just turned 18 and I hate walking outside sometimes or walking my dog because I see people looking and your right, it is disturbing.
There are crazies everywhere and it does seem like it is getting worse. You should cover up when you go out within reason no matter what your age group. Good for you.
I think you really need to think about your question. Richard the dentist gives you the standard answer and is a classic example of the kind of thinking that scares me. First: covering up more will not stop people from staring. Two: there has always been weird people out there, even in the "good old days". What is your definition of "weird" people? Does it mean people that act different from you. Does your definition include longhairs? Blacks? Muslims? Baptist? Gays? How about old men or women, or people with a speech impediment, or beggars or poor people, or uneducated people???? Surely a person would be considered a weirdo if he walked around telling everyone that he was the son of god and if they believed in him and accepted him in their heart, they would be awarded with everlasting life! Do you think Jesus was a weirdo? Three: If covering up more is the answer, maybe you should stay home with your curtains shut. There are people that do that, of course some of these people are robbed, raped, murdered or worse. Maybe you could hire someone to dig a deep, cement lined bomb shelter in your back yard. No--you'll probably get hungry and something bad might happen when you open the door to get food. So what's the solution? hmmm. Get my point? My wife used to love going shopping in the mall but she couldn't drive so I took her. I hated shopping so I sat on a bench in the mall and really enjoyed watching people go by. Each and everyone of them was weird in one way or another, including my wife and myself. By the way what kind of weirdo ask such a question? Ha Ha lol.
Just wear what you want and enjoy your life. Bad things happen, it's part of life and if you live life in fear you ruin the good things in your life too!
I might think you're a little... not completely paranoid. But people do tend to stare at pretty people... and if this is your real picture, you are pretty. Just ignore it... Don't let it bother you... move on with your life.
People always stare at other people that stand out for one reason or another. Some people enjoy getting the attention and some people get uncomfortable with the attention.
We all wear clothes a certain way to project an image. If you don't like how people react to the image you're projecting, wear different clothes! If you're completely comfortable with your image and you don't give a damn about what people think, it's your perogative to wear what you want.
When ti comes to clothing, do what feels right, not what you think you should be doing.
