Modifying and old saying, A dentist who does his own examination has a fool for a patient. I did my own laboratory work like made my own crowns and inlays because I like to do it. It is just like working on somebody else. I go to the best specialists I know for treatment. And as a statewide office holder in the dental profession, I knew practically everybody. I had dentists as patients and yes I offered them professional courtesy, but all wanted to pay anyway.
