Just got my alternator replaced at my favorite little garage. Cannot reattach battery without setting off the alarm. It's the 4th of July long weekend and I am stuck at work! (Garage is nearby...thank God!) My remote alarm/lock-unlock fob has new battery but will not work. I never use it because it is confusing (it's a Subaru add-on part and I never got directions on how to disarm the alarm...since it was annoying, I just don't use it.) But now I need to disarm the alarm so I can start my car. Yes, I'm in a bit of a fix. Thanks!
