Throughout my short life, I've had small red/pink bumps on my body. They look kind of like a small pimple, but these bumps do not have white heads or go away.

I've seen a skin doctor who diagnosed this many years ago (probably 3 or 5) but the name of the disease doesn't seem to catch my mind. My guess would be Actinic Keratosis, but the actual cause of AK, and the actual look (from pictures on google image and the 1 from AoCD) do not look at all like the ones on my body.

So if anyone can help suggest what these are I'd be most appreciated. Also, if more information is needed please ask.

(the reason why I thought it was Actinic Keratosis was because I googled goose skin, something the doctor said the disease looked like thus the name)

I had the exact same thing when I was much younger. At that time they told me some crap about my pores being stopped up. I had these on my legs and the back of my arms. I was always really embarrassed as a child. They told me to get a pumice stone and clean my skin.... don't remember if that really worked. The only thing that I found that helped me was getting sun on my skin. Of course use sunscreen but getting outside and getting a little color on my skin always helped to clear it up. I would also try exfoliating with a gentle cleansing scrub.

Good Luck... sorry you are having this problem. It's a pain.

What did the dermatologist tell you to do for it?
My guess is that he didn't tell you anything. They call everything they don't know what it is a keratosis! I would think keratitis would be a better name,
They could be cherry angiomas.

I believe your answer may lies here. The site has pictures

Molluscum contagiosum (MC) is a viral infection of the skin or occasionally of the mucous membranes. MC has no animal reservoir, infecting only humans, as did smallpox. However, there are different pox viruses that infect many other mammals. The infecting human MC virus is a DNA poxvirus called the molluscum contagiosum virus (MCV). There are 4 types of MCV, MCV-1 to -4, with MCV-1 being the most prevalent and MCV-2 seen usually in adults and often sexually transmitted. The incidence of MC infections in young children is around 17% and peaks between 2-12 years of age. MC affects any area of the skin but is most common on the body, arms, and legs. It is spread through direct contact or shared articles of clothing (including towels).

In adults, molluscum infections are often sexually transmitted and usually affect the genitals, lower abdomen, buttocks, and inner thighs. In rare cases, molluscum infections are also found on the lips, mouth, and eyelids.

The time from infection to the appearance of lesions ranges from 2 week[citation needed] to 6 months, with an average incubation period of 6 weeks. Diagnosis is made on the clinical appearance; the virus cannot routinely be cultured.

It could be a form of Exsema. (sp?) My sister has it and they're little pink rough bumps all over her arms and legs. The doctor says it can be caused by allergies to sunlight or radiation from the sun. She's supposed to stay away from too much sun.
