Three things could happen (if not a 4th):

1) Good thing: Heaven, good reincarnation etc, etc.
2) Bad thing: Hell, bad reincarnation, etc. etc.
3) Nothing: A dreamless sleep (well doesn't have to bee dreamless) in which we don't wake up.
4) Wake up: We were really sleeping, and life was just a dream, dieing woke us up, or any other variation. (Like God let you change one thing in life, but not remember anything thus you relived your life kind of thing).

The good thing I've done besides comic relief in the classroom, is when I cheer up my friend Suki (it's a nickname) after an unfortunate event.

The last question I'm assuming means the last thing you'll do if you know you're going to die TOMORROW or any other date. We all know we're going to die and we all live our life still. In truth, I think changing the world would be the best thing, but I know that isn't possible in my situation.

when one die, body either rots away or is burned. exhumed body (matter) becomes energy returning to universe as it came from.

I was true to myself, that is/was/will be the good thing in my life.

Complete the work thats left to be done.

I like to think there is a different plain another world between the living and the dead.I think being kind to people and helping if they are in trouble i have always tried. If i knew i was going to die i think i would just want to be with my family.

When i die i will return to dust.Solomon observed that as for the dead they are conscious of nothing at all....there is no work ..nor knowledge nor wisdow in the grave.Psalm 146:4 says when a man dies his thoughts do perish.
The life we enjoy is like the flame is put out ,it does not go anywhere. It is simply gone. When Lazarus was resurrected he did not mention being in heaven or hell or reborn as another human so I will not be in any place but resting in death as though in a deep sleep without dreams.
The good things i did in my life is cultivate a love for God and make a practice of loving others as myself .I would like to spend the last days of my life surrended by people i love and get to know them in a deep level and sharing memories.

Death is not the end of journey of a soul .Death is not a matter of thinking but to realize in deep spirituality. To realize it one has to die to live. When consciousness shrinks one can see all past deeds done and soul sees all the illusions..that is why at the end we find few people with eyes wide opened in surprise.
There are many conditions where the soul will be taken.
According to hinduism.if soul had a real guru while being on earth,it is taken by guru before being handed over to TIME.(these things can be realized only when one crosses the time and space bounds).
the good thing, the soul purpose of life is to remember HIM, so that at the time of death even, one remembers HIM and will be taken care by HIM only.
One remembers GOD at the end of life so i will do.
(my answer is based on hinduism)

Hmmm... Good question.

Well... I don't know but...

I think Hell is here, right here on Earth, and that we keep coming back here until we learn whatever it is we are put here to learn. This is how I would explain the crippled, the blind, the sick, etc... each of us probably has gone - or has yet to go - through such "experiences", for lack of a better word, in order we may learn what we've come here to learn...

Life being what it is... there are many ways one same lesson could be given/taught... and, were I to stretch my imagination even further, I would add that we CHOOSE the way we will learn each new lesson BEFORE even being born.

Something sort of like... "Ok, I'll take learning Compassion by incarnating this crippled body and you take I dunno.... Honesty, by incarnating Nixon" (lol!!)

Heaven could well be the end reward - it being NOT to have to come back here, EVER again!

So, in that sense, Death would be but a wormhole of sorts, between lessons, until each of us 'gets things right'.

Personally, should such actually be the case, I hope I'm done with these trips/lessons 'cause I'm kind of running out of soulbreath here. :)

However, if I'm to remain honest, something tells me I'm not quite "all I could be" just yet and THAT - the idea I may well have to come back here and live through yet more sh*t again - really pisses me off - lol!!

Last thing I would do before dying?

Yet another interesting question - one I'd omitted somehow, being carried away by the first two....

Hmmmm... I guess that depends on the kind of notice I would get.

I mean, if all I'd have left was three seconds, the last thing I'd want to do would be to give my husband a warm kiss and thank him for the Gift of his love for me and then I'd - Pfttt! Time's up!

If I had an hour, I'd call up the people I love to thank them for all the love they've given me, making sure to call my brother last (His wife always answers the phone and she can taaaalk and taaaalk....) ;)

If I had a day's notice (24 hours)... I'd get some really nice stationary and take the time to write each of these people a very loving and personal note.

I think that you are absorbed into the conciousness of another version of you in a parallel universe. The good thing I did/continue to do in my life is try to be a decent person. The last thing that I'd do if I knew that I was going to die would be to visit Mount Fuji in Japan.
