Has anyone gotten any money and/or prizes from programs off the net like answering survey question, no-money down, or any other program/s? Or are all of these just a type of scam?

I'm not asking about AskPedia, my reasons for joining AP was NEVER about money but about the fun of answering questions and learning about the subjects while searching for the correct answer. I enjoy helping people also on real good example was just recently on two questions about a pet Guinea Pig which is healing nicely after her operation.
Yes offers have been email to me daily 24/7. Its a golden rule that I don't respond to any emails if I didn't registere for it. Companies has congraduate me that I had been selected for funds to be transferred to my account. Recieved emails that I won a lap top and that I need to claim it. Yeah right, if this was so then they need to send a certified letter through the UPS.
By the way to picky back Cares comment, I am not here to win money from users here since I do deposit my own money. I like poundering and answering questions here even though I am associate with another site. Belonging to two cites is interesting now. I see here that some of us are here for the money rather than assisting and answering others questions. It shouldn't make a difference if the question has a price or no price. Just be glad that you are able to assist some.
We should have fun here and be nice to other another. :-)
Actually I came over this site called "Bux.to"
I was impressed as how they were really giving away money, so I googled it to see if it was safe and all the sources said it was.
But there are negative sides. Let me explain a bit first. You have to click on ads and for every one you click you get $0.1. Now the good thing here is you can take money out when $10, but you can only make a limited number of clicks everyday and what I hate more is that you have to wait 30 seconds after you click each one. And they don't use Paypal to transfer money, but I think the one that they use is safe. Though I'm not gonna waste my time on that, waiting 30 secs after each click!! Unless you download one of those auto-clicking softwares.
Askpedia seems safe, but I haven't ever met anyone who has withdrawn money. Personally, I would like to try it but my dad won't let me use his credit card and I think its better that I wait till I open my account soon once I get a job.

However, all those ads you see which say "Click here to get a free laptop" and stuff like that are just scams. You will go to the site, answer the question which will be like a piece of cake and then you put in ALL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION and in the next step they're like "To get into the draw, you must complete this offer blah blah blah.... "

That's nice, I'm not doing it for money either but I just wanna try it once to see if it works!! Because nobody withdraws their money, the top users normally use it in their answer rewards...

Yeah, I've also tried signing up at those websites where they pay you to answer survey questions. However, you get only around $1-$5 or sometimes even less and, trust me, when you look at the size of the survey, you just may rethink about why you signed up....
I paid $57.00 at quickpaidsurveys.com for a list of paid survey sites. I'm still checking it out but so far the ad said $20.00 per survey and I've registered at like 20 of them and none have offered that much for a survey. But like I said, I'm still checking it out, I'll let you know. I've been at it all day.
I have tried quite a few and they are all endless surveys, basically you go from page to page and on each page it gives you a list of ads. Most will state that you must complete x number of offers on each page ranging from trial memberships (which if you dont cancel in time youll be charged) magazine subscriptions, credit card offers, etc. None of which are worth the time or eventual expense you will incur. I also signed up for http://bux.to/ but as mentioned youll get $.01 for each ad (which you must spend a min of 30 sec on each, one ad at a time) and cannot withdrawl til you hit $10. That means itll take you 1000 ads and over 8 hours just to make $10, hardly worth it.
Nothing in this world is free, LOL especially on the internet!
There are some sites you can use to make money. I'm starting to use them and it looks like a good idea. It works like this: Companies pay websites to advertise their websites, they pay the websites for every time their links are visited. The website then invites members to come and visit the links and pays them a portion of the profit! No one loses really although it is slow to begin with. You can also make money by refering others to the sites and get paid for every ad they click (they don't lose out the website just pays extra). You can collect your money via paypal or alertpay depending on the website. Here are some of the sites I use (you dont lose out by being refered by me):
NOPE! If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is. If you really CARE, don't do it. It's a wild goose chase, and not worth the time to click or scroll.
I have not gotten any money yet although they did call me to tell me i was entered into the sweepstakes there might be a good chance to get money but not for me since i am underage.

You should try asking smohpal she might have taken out money and now that you mention it, i got a free ipod completing a survey but you have to have a password like the ones you get in sears asking you to complete their surveys.
you also have to have a paypal account.
I went to one of those survey sites and it was a NEVER ENDING barrage of, try this product. After many, many pages of not buying anything and much wasted time I never got to the prize, so I gave up. The next thing I know, I'm getting over 300 spam ads a day from sites I'd never been to and for things I'd never need or use. It took months to get rid of the spam ads. And after I removed myself from the spam mail lists, they began calling me on the phone instead. That took several more months to stop.
When you answer those surveys they sell your email address and any other information they may have gotten about you to advertisers. That's how they make the money to pay for the prizes, if anyone ever spends that much time to get to the end of the survey. By that time they've made more money selling your email address than they will ever have to pay out on any prize.
DON'T ANSWER, THE PRIZE ISN'T WORTH THE TROUBLE.
I can understand your question , because I too have wondered the same thing. I can tell you from experience that most of the survey companies have been scamming. I have done so many that it would make your head spin if I told you. usually if it sounds too good to be true, nine times out of ten it really is. however I
have been having better success at mailing envelopes.I can't really understand why a company want to scam seeing as how they could play their cards right and make continuous money (the right way)satisfying all parties envolved. I would encourage you to continue looking for better ways to make side money and prizes. I hope I've been helpful to you today.
