I think that depends. If your community has a need for these; then a good contractor would be more than happy to install them at a great price.

If this is a once over job; then, a normal contractor would probably charge top dollar.

My best suggestion to you is to call around to mobile home dealers and check prices for them to order a replacement. Also call the travel trailer dealers to check prices of ordering through them. You can try lumber yards and home improvement centers but I doubt they can even order any but it worth a try.

Problem is the mobile home tubs are normally shorter and not as deep compared to regular home tubs.There are some companies that buy damaged mobile homes and repair or gut them that you can try. Also some big general (not auto) salvage yards might have them, call around.

Have your tub repaired using epoxy and fiberglass best if removed to do this as the bond will be better.

To find the companies that are doing the gutting and repairs check you phone book and ask any dealers of mobile homes and dealers of travel trailers. Asking a travel trailer parts person is how I found out about the one company around here that does that kind of work. The reason I know this info is, I bought a 12 x 52 mobile home right after gettting out of the service and several years latter gave it to my uncle free of charge. During the time I owned it, I had to do some repairs on it and had to learn where to get the special parts used on the homes even the sheetrock is special 3/8 inch instead of 1/2 inch used in regular homes.

I agree with justthefacts about any good contractor could install the tub but the problem is going to be finding one to install. If you do use a contractor to install one that you have found, get bids down to the penny in writing what it is going to cost you and ask for references (there are a lot of fly by night contractors that will add on bogus charges).
