Families... is it possible to keep the peace, or will there be times when

you just cant please everyone?
I have always believed in keeping the peace within families. Although, now that people have moved, have children, changed jobs, went back to school, etc.... Its almost hard for the families to "connect", even during special holidays.
This seems to lead into bad feelings, (even if unspoken) and I would rather it not go that way.
We believe in being honest, and sometimes, the truth is hard to swallow for some. What can be done, and what do you do to keep the peace?

I hate to say this but in any and all relationships there will be times when no matter what you attempt to do it will not work. Agreements and disagreements are a fact of life. A look that got a smile one day on another will get you a "what is wrong with you look" please accept the fact that you can only please part of the people some of the time and all the people none of the time--old saying but very true.
