are guys not supposed to find girls who ADORE them?

or is it only supposed to be the other way around?
From experience, I tend to get involved with girls who use me or cheat on me, and find me boring. Granted, I don't talk alot and I do like "eccentric" stuff like video games and cult movies, but I give my all and i'm nice and tolerant. Oh well.
Is it really a guy's lot to put tons of effort into relationships with people who won't accept them for the way they are?
