old currency value
Asked by: maryjane from TUCSON, AZ
I have several red strike 2 dollar bills. From 1928 to 1963, one with a * in the serial number. I also came across a 10cent fractional currency series 1874 with william m merideth on it. How rare or valuable are these currency?
Additional Details added (12/10/07):
Yes. The serial numbers are red and the the seals are red. one of the seals are on the left side over the legal tender, it also from 1928. the paper even looks different(darker almost reddish). Only one has a * in the serial number-series 1953
