searching for mp3 of children's song, "Where Did The Chicky Lay The Eggy?"

I believe I first heard it sung/played on "Captain
Kangaroo", a children's morning program shown back in the 60's.
Some of the rest of the words go like this:
"Did we leave him in the bathroom or under the kitchen
sink?
___ _____ ___ _____ ______ _____ ___ __ ?
All they can say is 'ba-caw','ba-caw', 'ba-caw'...."
Then back to the chorus:
"Where did the chicky lay the eggie?
We don't know,
We don't know."
A HUGE DEBT OF GRATITUDE If YOU CAN FIND THE MP3 FOR ME! I
have been searching on Limewire, and searches like Google
for a month! I haven't made a match with the words
"Chickie", "Chicky" or "eggie & "eggy".
It is a funny kiddie type song. Thank you so very much for
ANY clues or suggestions you can offer!

It was not listed on there...Art Carney was, but not that song. and when a search for Art Carney was done, no songs came up by him. |
