I have two Dell monitors which are the same size and resolution 1680x1050. Can I connect these two monitors to my Macbook Pro and work across three screens?
I've seen people do this with desktop PCs running Windows and using two graphics card. Can it be done on the Macbook Pro?

You can use a product from Matrox called DualHead2Go. It's a small box that you connect to your laptop and it then connects it to two monitors.
On the PC, it does a great job of simulating multiple desktops. However, on the Mac it simulates one big desktop across two monitors which means that everything will open in middle across two monitors.
