What can one do with paper/straw stars after one is done making them?

What can one do with paper/straw stars after one is done making them? I know about the glass/see-through jars, but what else can one do with them?

Use them for scrap booking, or christmas tree decor, or hang them in a kids room for viewing. Or even donate them to someone for free on www.freecycle.org to see if someone could use them.

I guess you keep one for your lucky star and hang the rest on the Christmas tree.
They are kind of pretty and would make a nice center piece.
