If you get in a car accident and win a settlement will the state or pharmacy pay for your prescriptions untill you get your settlement?

No, Depending on from whom you won your lawsuit, there are lenders who may let you borrow to tide you over using the win as collateral. And you may be about to find out that it is one thing to win a lawsuit and settlement and it is another to collect it. If your settlement was from an individual, sometimes it is hard. (consider the case of O.J. Simpson.) If it was from an insurance company, you expect the settlement to be forthcoming. If it is not, then contact the corporation commission's office or the Attorney General...

If you were also driving the car then your insurance company must pay for your prescription if you have won the settlement and later it gets reimbursed from the other side's insurance company. After all you had been paying your car insurance for all these unwanted accidents.
