Human Connections

I feel this wierd connection with a person at school. Its like not so much a love thing and if it were, more like family love. But we don't know each other that well and I have this yearning to learn more about him but i dont know why and theres something in his eyes that I can't read but I know there is something there and I know there is a reason I feel this connection, i just dont know what it is.
Another thing is when I looked at my dad today, He very much resembled this other person, but we cant be related hes older and from a different ethnic background. Could he have been related to me in a past life? Or do you have an suggestions as to what could be the reason for this wierd connection I feel?

Our brains are wonderful things when it comes to making these connections. It saw something it recognized as familiar. Something in the eyes that reflected a compatible personality. You may well have found the answer with some feature that reminds you of your dad. Nobody is really going to be able to give you an honest answer about past lives.
But I would be willing to bet that you have some artistic talent. (And a pretty good imagination as well.)...

I think I know what you mean. I've had a similar feeling where I being to develop ideas about people's personalities based on their looks. I remember having friends or people I disliked when I was young and then meeting new people and relating them to my previous friends or enemies. I've noticed that I tend to become friends more easily with people who remind me of my childhood friends.
